About the Show
Straight out of London, Jordan started his music career as a producer mainly producing RnB and Hip-Hop. After the advice of some close family & friends, he then tried to break into the London scene as a DJ in 2018. A year later he was playing weekly in some of the biggest clubs and bars in West End London and has established himself as a very talented Open Format DJ, playing all genres from 80s Disco to Latin music to EDM.
Before I even thought of becoming a DJ I started of as a session musician and then went into production.
I found it really tough as living in London can be extremely expensive on your own. A good friend of mine talked me into DJing so that way I would make money while still doing what I love.
My DJ career took of really fast and within a few months a found myself doing sets in the biggest Clubs all around London so my production just got left behind. When Covid-19 happened all the bars/clubs shut down so I was out of work and after I tested positive it really affected me mentally, so to keep me staying positive I opened up Logic and FL Studio and got back to my production.
After a few months I thought why don’t I put out another Instrumental tape so I have an achievement for the year. So I kept at it and a few months later I had about 30 instrumentals I had finished. Most brand new and some were old ones from years back I just decided to revisit again.
So I set myself a target of Boxing Day to release it and from Boxing Day it was available on all major streaming sites..
You can also catch me playing every Wednesday from 7pm – 9pm on Raw Soul Radio www.rawsoulradiolive.com
